"Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be afraid . . . for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." (Deut. 31:6) You can be secure in God's divine protection as you meditate and speak His promises today and everyday! "If ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work." (James 3:14-16) Envy (jealousy) is evil! That is the driving force of the devil. He envied God and wanted what God had and was willing to kill to get it! We see example after example in scripture and I will give you a few. In Acts 13:43-46, Paul and Barnabas are preaching the gospel. At first, the Jews are receptive, but the next day, they see how big the crowds are that have come to hear and they became so mad (full of envy), they wanted to kill them! Envy is a murderer! It was the Jews' covenant and because they rejected it, God gave it to the Gentiles because they received the truth. In Gen. 29:31- 30:1-2, Rachel envied her sister Leah and God opened up Leah's womb and she brought forth many children. In Gen. 37:3-11, we see how Jacob loved and favored Joseph above his brothers. The brothers hated (envied) Joseph because of the dream he had. Joseph's dream was from God. (Acts 7:9) Joseph could not produce this on his own. Joseph's vision far exceeded their vision because Joseph dared to believe God. God is looking for some people today, who will dare to believe His Word! In Acts 8, we find a sorcerer who wants to "buy" the power to lay hands on people that they might receive the Holy Spirit. Peter told him he needed to repent, " For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you." In other words, he was full of envy. Here's the question though: When was the last time you heard someone admit to being envious? We have ALL been envious, but did we acknowledge it? How can you repent from something you won't acknowledge? If you will humble yourself and repent of being jealous of another, you will qualify yourself to receive the same thing and more that God has for you! If you refuse to repent, then you disqualify yourself. Be willing to be persecuted by those jealous critics, but never apologize for being blessed of God! It's your choice... you either love or envy? "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." (Mt. 5:44) "Rejoice with them that do rejoice." (Rom.12:15) And be confident that your blessings are coming to you too! Are you aware that we have a guaranteed insurance policy with God? Psalm 91 starts with these words: "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." If we want to stay within the boundaries of God's protection, we have to walk closely with Him. Verse 2 tells us how to appropriate that: "I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust."As you speak God's promises of protection, His Word will not return void! No evil or plague can come near you! Speak ONLY God's Words! We love and pray for our facebook friends daily. www.libertychapelpentecostal.com/... See MoreSee Less

MELISSA COPLEY "To begin, let me give Glory to the Name of Jesus Christ. He is the Author and Finisher of my faith; the Alpha and Omega of my life. My name is Melissa Copley and God has blessed me with a rich heritage in ministry. My preparation for ministry has taken me through the fire as I am a cancer survivor and have seen many difficult times. I believe that with these trials Jesus brought me through with a purpose and they were stepping stones leading to my destiny to help others in need. Through it all, Jesus alone has always been my rescue and I love Him with all of my heart, mind, and soul. He has given me a powerful testimony of God’s favor upon my life.
