Are all of your needs met? If not, why not? According to the Word of God, it's either because you're not praying about them at all or because when you do pray, you're praying wrong. In many cases that simply means you're praying without expecting any results. Many believers play around with prayer. They pray because it's the "proper" thing to do or it's the designated time in a church service set aside for prayer. If your attitude about prayer has been nonchalant, it's time to change, and start praying to get results! Pray in the Name of Jesus, according to the Word of God, and expect to receive what you ask for every single time. Some might say that it's a little presumptuous, but it's boldness. We have a scriptural right to be bold. In Hebrews 4:16, we have an invitation from God the Father to "come boldly into the throne of grace, that you may obtain" Obtain simply means to get possession of. So, every time you pray, expect you get possession of what you need. When you pray according to the Word of God, in Jesus' Name, we know exactly what God is going to do. He's going to answer your prayers! As another school year approaches for our children, I've been impressed by the Holy Spirit to share some confessions that I speak daily over my children, in hopes that you will also declare them over your children as well. We have a real enemy who is out to steal, kill, and destroy. But, the Good News is, we have a Savior, and the blood that Jesus shed on Calvary's cross is more powerful than any devil from the pits of hell. Jesus gave us authority over ALL the works of the enemy. (Luke 10:19) It's how we appropriate that authority. Speaking The Word is the most important resource that we have. When we say the same thing God says, things begin to happen just as we have believed and proclaimed. "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Is. 55:11) "We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak" (2 Cor. 4:13) My prayer is that you will begin to speak the Word over your family as well. God has showed Himself faithful to me and has divinely protected my children and now they follow after His will. All glory to God! "My children reverently fear the Lord, and keep all His statutes and His commandments... They love the Lord their God with all their mind and heart and with their entire being and with all their might." (Deut. 6:2,5) "My children are the head and not the tail; and they shall be above only, and they shall not be beneath, because they heed the commandments of the Lord their God and are watchful to do them." (Deut. 28:13) "My children choose life and blessing. They love the Lord, obey His voice, and cling to Him. For He is their life and the length of their days." (deut. 30:19-20) "My children make right choices according to the Word of God." (Is. 54:13) "My children rise up and call me blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied)" (Prov. 31:28) "As the clay is in the potter's hand, so are my children in the hand's of the Lord." (Jer. 18:6) "I am always a positive encourager. I edify and build up; I never tear down or destroy"(Rom. 15:2) "All my children have Christian friends, and God has set aside a Christian wife or husband for each of them." (1 Cor. 15:33) "My children are not unequally yoked with unbelievers."(2 Cor. 6:14) "My children walk and live habitually in the Holy Spirit and is responsive to and controlled and guided by the Spirit."(Gal.5:16) "My children have the spirit of wisdom and revelation and insight into the knowledge of God. Their eyes have been flooded with light, so that they can know and understand the hope to which He has called them, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints."(Eph. 1:17-18) "My children obey me in the Lord, for this is right. They honor their father and mother-which is the first commandment with a promise- "that it may go well with them and that they may enjoy long life on the earth."(Eph. 6:1-3) "I do not exasperate my children; instead, I bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."(Eph. 6:4) "My children love to pray and study the Word. They correctly analyze the Word of Truth."(2 Tim. 2:15) "my children have a teachable spirit."(Prov. 14:16) We here at Liberty Chapel love you and pray daily for all of you. Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.http://www.libertychapelpentecostal.com/ ... See MoreSee Less

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chron. 7:14) Let's break this verse down to find it's true meaning. "If my people, which are called by my name" This refers to the children of God, believers, who trust Him and live to please Him, not unbelievers, because, they have no relationship with the Almighty God. "shall humble themselves and pray" Humble means to turn from our prideful, arrogant ways and be submissive to God's way. We must acknowledge that His ways are higher than ours and He knows how to keep us from self-destruction or anything that could harm us. (Is. 55:8-9) Notice that it also says to pray. When we pray to God, we have confidence that He hears us and will answer. (1 John 5:14-15) "and seek my face" To seek the face of God is to know Him intimately. To know who He is, His desires and His heart. This happens by spending time in His Word and praying. We will then begin to obey and become followers after God's heart. "turn from their wicked ways" It's easy to see the outward sins like murder, rape, theft, adultery, homosexuality, just to name a few; but overlook those sins that directly affect our heart and in effect, our relationship with God, such as jealousy, bitterness, anger, lust, and unforgiveness. These are the things that can keep us from drawing closer to God and therefore, keep us from seeking His face. We cannot continue to do those things that displease God. When we do our part in this verse, we know that God will do His part in keeping His promise to "heal our land!" Folks, this IS the answer to all of the questions that will ever arise about how to deal with nation-wide pestilences, famines, lack of finances or resources, wars. This is the answer for ALL people, for ALL nations, for ALL time! Liberty Chapel loves and prays for all of our facebook friends daily.
